Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice
Mouth Dissolving Sachet
- Licorice Root (Glycyrrhiza glabra) is used for digestion & inflammation.
- Contains Glycyrrhizin, which can cause high blood pressure & low potassium in excess.
- DGL (Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice) = Glycyrrhizin removed → Safe for long-term use.
DGL MOA:
1.Enhances Mucin Production: Stimulates mucus secretion, forming a protective barrier over the stomach lining.
2.Anti-Inflammatory Action: Reduces inflammation in the gut lining, beneficial for GERD, ulcers, IBS, and IBD.
3.Prevents H. pylori Adhesion: Inhibits the ability of H. pylori bacteria to stick to the stomach lining, reducing ulcer formation.
4.Supports Gut Lining Repair: Helps repair damaged gastric and intestinal tissues naturally.
5.Improves Gastric Motility: Aids digestion, reduces bloating, and prevents acid reflux.
6.Neutralizes Acid Damage Without Suppressing Acid: Unlike PPIs (proton pump inhibitors), OHNOFLUX does not block acid production, preventing acid rebound.
